Along with carrot cake, this used to be my frequent morning hangouts for my porridge breakfast after jog since I lived there.
Open from 7 to 10am daily sharp, they served 4 choices.
As in chicken, minced pork, sliced fish and century egg porridge with lean meat with generous youtiao or Chinese fried dough servings.
You also have the choice of whether you want to add egg or not though that may not be necessary with century egg porridge.
I have tasted all 4 and have to say they are delicious with additional free top-ups of pepper and soya sauce on tables near them.
On Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends, they opened again in evenings from 5 to 10pm.
