As the title implies, this is truly a homemade carrot cake in its finest and which I have been eating regularly every Friday and occasionally when I finished my jog runs and since it is in the district I lived in.
Jurong East also known as Yuhua Village.
Look no further if you are a big traditional carrot cake lover.
For this stall – run by elderly couple and young assistant – whips up a delicious plate of carrot cake which is not too greasy to stomach.
Freshly prepared daily, the carrot cake is cut into big chunks as compared to smaller and evenly cut cubes manufactured by factories.
Available in choices of $2.50, 3 and $5, they still provided generous serving portions.
Now what makes this carrot cake my favourite is that it is not too oily even though you can make a special request of wanting white carrot cake despite the fact their black or brown ones – the way I see – are more popular with most crowds.
Besides the carrot cake stir-fried and cutted into right proportion sizes for easy chewing and swallowing, they also added in fried eggs that blends in perfectly with the dish.
Their dish is so good that I can easily finish in 10 minutes or less.
