Though there are many Astons outlets in Singapore, the one that attracted me the most is the Marina Square branch.
Because at time of writing this, it is the only one with buffet feast of assortment of soups, side dishes, drinks and desserts.
Like Pastamania, Astons has its humble beginnings but instead of shopping mall food court, it began as a stall in Jurong East and Bukit Batok coffeeshops from my first few encounters in 2011 to 2013.
Since then, they have expanded into cafes and eventually restaurant outlets across Singapore.
For soups, they ranged from corn, mushroom, minestrone to onion.
For side dishes, they have variety of fruits, vegetables, beans, corn, potatoes.
For drinks, they are very standardized from cold to hot drinks like tea and coffee.
And for desserts, you get 3 different favors from vanilla, strawberry to chocolate with different toppings from peanut, chocolate chips to other sprinklings.
All these for $30 to $60 depending on your choice of main course be it beef, chicken or fish.
